A group rallied outside a speaking event with Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson in Medford, Massachusetts, Thursday night to bring attention to the issue of keeping judges safe.
Support the Courts, which held its first rally last month, is trying to raise awareness about the volatile climate the nation's judges are facing, saying the officials and their families are under attack, receiving more than 1,000 serious threats in the last five years.

"Threats of physical violence and death threats," Helene Presskreischer said outside the Chevalier Theatre. "Also, judges have been victims of swatting where false reports have been made about them, and police have show up at their homes with guns."
