OTTUMWA, Iowa (KYOU) - Right in the lobby of Ottumwa Regional Health Center students from Cardinal High School are connecting with the community through their artwork.
Makenna Ware is one of the Cardinal high school students honored to have her work on display.
“I kind of just hope that it helps people that may be in a harder spot or might be going through something hard to just be able to look at something a appreciate it and see something that maybe could just help someone have a better day.”
The partnership was developed to showcase students’ talents. Connecting with the community in a space of hope and healing.
