Charlie Kirk, a right-wing political activist and co-founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed at a Utah Valley University event, prompting conservative students to carry on his legacy in his memory. Turning Point USA, co-founded by Kirk, is known for promoting conservative values on campuses, including several Northern California campuses like Sacramento State and UC Davis.
