SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- The Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate Tribe will be receiving disaster relief funds for flooding that occurred in June.

In a post on Facebook, Johnson thanked President Trump for approving $500,000 worth of disaster relief for the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate Tribe.

Trump posted to Truth Social about the approved fund, stating that he loves the people of South Dakota and the money will be used to "make America great again".

Johnson thanked the other South Dakota leaders, John Thune and Mike Rounds, for rallying with him to ask the President for relief.
