There few smells guaranteed to take me back to the days of primary school than Hubba Bubba grape bubblegum.

From memories of being armed with a pocket full of silver coins for the walk to the corner deli, to the parental reticence over our purchase choice to sibling rivalry over who could blow the biggest bubble, it’s pure nostalgia.

West Perth-based brewers Phat Brew Club have tapped into that nostalgia with its Phubba Bubba Grape Bubblegum Sour, which made its return as one of 12 ‘official releases’ for the recent Froth Town beer festival.
