CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) -- Illinois football returns home Saturday for their first sold out game of the season at Gies Memorial Stadium.

The Illini have broken into the top 10 in the country after starting the season 2-0 and are continuing their 1-0 mentality this week.

Coaches said Western Michigans defense is similar to the defensee they just faced at Duke and they are preparing for a run heavy offense and a team that plays two quarterbacks.

Defensive Coordinator Aaron Henry said he was happy with how the defense performed against he Blue Devils forcing five turnovers and that is something they emphasize every week at practice.

The Illini welcome the Broncos to Champaign Saturday night. Kick off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
