Chargers release former first-round pick and running back, sign new linebacker
The Los Angeles Chargers have made a few roster moves ahead of their Week 2 divisional battle with the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Chargers started by releasing Jalen Reagor from their practice squad with an injury settlement . The former first-round pick of the Philadelphia Eagles has been with the Chargers since last season. He played in eight games and caught seven passes for 100 yards. Due to the team's lack of depth at the wide receiver position early this summer, many saw him making the team's 53-man roster. But the emergence of fifth-round pick KeAndre Lambert-Smith and the return of Keenan Allen left no room for him to make it.
