Andress was sharp on both sides of the ball in opening up District 1-5A, Division 2 play with an 55-0 win at Jefferson on Thursday night.

The Eagles led 35-0 at halftime and improved to 2-1 on the season. Jefferson, which defeated Bowie last week, falls to 1-2. The Eagles have won two straight since losing its season opener to El Dorado. Four different running backs scored toucdowns on the night for Andress.

The Eagles are ranked No. 8 in El Paso this week in the El Paso Times' Top 10 poll.

Andress' win sets up a huge game next week vs, Northeast rival Chapin on Friday, Sep. 19.
