A man was taken to the hospital after getting hit by a vehicle Thursday evening in Huntsville.

According to Don Webster with HEMSI, the incident happened on the 2000 block of Sparkman Drive near Blue Springs Road.

Webster says the man is expected to be okay.

Huntsville Police are continuing to investigate the wreck.
