It felt like the Washington Commanders struggled with missed opportunities throughout the night against the Green Bay Packers.

Whether it was missed field goals, failing to sustain drives or missing tackles for a loss by just a few inches, game-changing plays seemed just out of the Commanders' reach. And for every mistake, Jordan Love and the Packers seemed to have an answer for it.

Although there were a handful of positive plays that kept them hanging around in the Thursday Night Football matchup, the Commanders were out of sync from their usual selves in the 27-10 loss that dropped them to 1-1. It was a reminder that while there was excitement about what the team can accomplish in 2025, there is still plenty of work to be done on both sides of the ball.
