The Prairie Baseball Academy Dawgs kicked off their new season last week and early in the fall camp it looks like athleticism and pitching are being addressed.

PBA recruited 76 kids for the fall camp and head coach Todd Hubka praised fellow coaches Josh Burgmann and Ryan MacDonald for the job they did in bringing in the freshman class they were able to bring in.

“The athleticism that they brought in,” said Hubka.

“That’s what you look for first in a college baseball player, is how athletic they are and we gotta lot of athletes here this fall. So, it should be a fun fight to see who can make varsity come January.”

Hubka’s focus with the players is to not overcoach them.
