INDIANAPOLIS — Hoosiers are weighing in on the future of Interstates 65 and 70 inside the Interstate 465 loop as transportation planners explore ways to modernize the decades-old corridor.

The initiative , led by ProPEL Indy in partnership with the Indiana Department of Transportation, is part of a multi-year study to reimagine how interstates serve central Indiana. After more than 40 years of use, transportation leaders said it’s time to look ahead.

ProPEL Indy's Lisa Wall said the team is examining issues such as safety, mobility, and connectivity, both on and around the interstates.
