Paige Bueckers, Dallas' WNBA rookie of the year candidate, scored 24 points to lead the Wings to a 97-76 victory over the playoff-bound Phoenix Mercury on Thursday in the regular-season finale for both teams in Arlington, Texas.

The Wings (10-34) snapped a 10-game losing streak and won for just the second time since July 29. Dallas trailed by 14 points in the first period before flipping the switch in the second and third quarters and building a 22-point lead heading into the final period.

The victory allowed the Wings, long eliminated from the postseason chase, to avoid suffering their worst full season win total since the franchise moved from Tulsa, Okla., to North Texas for the 2016 campaign.
