I now get why everyone was tight-lipped about "Foundation" season 3 finale. The third season of the Apple TV Plus sci-fi epic has been good. There were some dull moments in the first half, but then the back half of the season has produced some of the best episodes of the show to date.

But none of those episodes compares to the season 3 finale, which is easily the best of the series so far. "You’ll be holding your breath for the entirety of the episode, I think," is all show star Lou Llobell would tell me about it when I asked her, and while I think I managed to sneak a few breaths in over the nearly hour-long finale, there were more than a few moments where I was fully engrossed in the episode.
