The 2-acre Steadfast Farm grows and sells fruits, vegetables and flowers using organic practices and raises pastured poultry for eggs year round in Eastmark in southeast Mesa.

The city selected it in 2023 to take part in the design process of transforming the historic Sirrine House in downtown Mesa into an agricultural, dining and educational venue to help stimulate the area’s economy.

Now the city is looking to bring the agribusiness on board as the site’s operator.

“We are working on an agreement with them,” said Jeff Robbins, Redevelopment Program administrator at the Aug. 28 council study session. “We do anticipate that there’ll be a services contract to manage the site.”
