Ivan Toney may have had a point.

And why wouldn’t he? Not only did he notch 35 goals last season in a league boasting stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane but he also became an Asian Champions League winner with Al Ahli.

More recently, He denied Roanldo a first major trophy in Saudi when Al Ahli got the better of Al Nassr in the Saudi Super Cup.

Life is good for the Northampton native who has played in all four professional leagues in England.
