Pair facing murder charges as man found stabbed in neck after house fire
Two men have been charged with the murder of a man who died of a stab wound to the neck and was found inside a house following a fire. Cambridgeshire Police said officers were called by the fire service to the address in Wootton Avenue, Fletton, Peterborough, at about 3.35am on Sunday.
The force said Zbigniew Wasiak, 59, was found dead inside the property and that a post-mortem examination conducted on Wednesday recorded that he died of a single stab wound to the neck.
Police said that two men, both aged 35, have been charged with murder and have been remanded in custody to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
