The murder of 11 worshippers at the Tree of Life synagogue on October 27, 2018, was the deadliest antisemitic attack in American history. To ensure such horror never happens again, survivors of the congregation partnered with Pittsburgh’s business community to launch the Eradicate Hate Global Summit.
Each year since, hundreds of policymakers, practitioners, and survivors of antisemitism, Islamophobia, and other forms of hate have gathered to share solutions. The summits have inspired hope that a global community of practice can make the world safer and more tolerant.
That hope is now at risk.
Unprecedented cuts
This year’s summit, starting Monday and running through Wednesday at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, will take place as the Trump administration has made unprecedented
