The Monroe County Health Department is offering free health education presentations for the 2025-26 school year.

The presentations, which cover topics such as substance use prevention, germs, nutrition and emotional wellness, are available to all schools in Monroe County, according to a community announcement. The topics are tailored for students from preschool through 12th grade.

“These presentations encourage kids to make healthy choices, reduce unhealthy behaviors, and foster academic and social success,” Mitchel Matuszak, finance, education and administration director at the Monroe County Health Department, said in the announcement. “Our goal is to support students, teachers and schools in any way we can to ensure kids can achieve greater well-being now and into the future.”
