A South Coast property could represent both the ultimate tree-change and an Airbnb-style holiday rental for its next owner.

The one-hectare property at [Berry] has an asking price of $3.2 million.

'Meadow Mist' contains a main residence plus two separate, one-bedroom self-contained cottages.

Owner Ben Housego said he had bought the home as a tree-change from Sydney in 2019.

"It's a really nice old cottage," he said. "It needed some work, but it was a really cute spot. I just knew it was the one."

The current owners' work has included transforming the backyard with a permaculture design, installing a dam, and renovating the three dwellings, including new decking, flooring and kitchens.
