As the 2025 high school football season kicked off in the Bay State, there were plenty of questions. Would premier teams continue their reign of success? Who could challenge after a whirlwind of change?

And, of course, which athletes would stand out?

Some things went as planned, with Xaverian and Catholic Memorial opening with impressive wins, despite great competition. For others, it was a tough re-entry into reality. Some newcomers enter the fray as schools to watch. This week, there are even better games to see, as squads look to leave their stamp on what will hopefully be a fall to remember.
