PHILADELPHIA — This summer, Eagles defensive tackle Jordan Davis claimed that losing 26 pounds and being in better shape would lead to a career year.

Davis followed through with a great Week 1 performance against the Dallas Cowboys, amassing six tackles, two pressures, one batted pass and a tackle for loss, while playing a career-high in snaps (87%).
