An urgent recall has been announced for a popular baby wipe product over concerns of mould growth that could cause serious health risks.
Bunjie Peek-A-Boo Probiotic Baby Eye Wipes, sold by Bunjie Pty Ltd, have been recalled due to a packaging issue that may lead to mould growth.
“The package may not have been properly sealed during manufacturing, which may lead to mould growth,” an ACCC statement said.
“Risk of allergic reaction and illness, including skin and eye irritation or infection, if mould is present in a wipe that is used on skin.
“Incidents have occurred.”
