The conditions will cover most of England
A yellow weather warning covering the East Midlands is set to spoil the "fine and sunny" start to this weekend. The Met Office says the late weekend will bring strong and gusty winds across the East Midlands, including Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.
The forecaster has warned some travel disruption might result from the poor weather conditions, while interruptions to power could also take place. The conditions will cover most of England and be in place from 8pm on Sunday, September 14, until 6pm on Monday, September 15.
The west and southwesterly winds will move inland on Monday morning, with gusts of 45-55mph expected. Coasts and hills will experience gusts of 60-70mph.
