An end of an era is coming to one of the oldest continuous sites for high school football games in Ohio.
Cuyahoga Falls High School is set to host its final varsity football game on the natural grass at Clifford Stadium at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12 against rival Barberton . The site has hosted high school football games for just over a century, with numerous future NFL players taking the field there, in addition to Pro Football Hall of Famers, a Super Bowl MVP, a College Football Hall of Famer, an Ohio Mr. Football and future Olympians.
