GRAND FORKS — The Grand Forks KnightRiders are looking forward to building.
After the demolition of the team's previous home of Hyslop pool on the UND campus, the newly combined team will be using Grand Forks Central’s pool as its swim hub while it awaits a new swim center.
Inside the pool, a slimmer roster than in years past will be looking to maintain a standard amid a new setting and new faces.
“It’s a small swimming community, but a very successful one," Grand Forks coach Bryan Walls said. "It’s an exciting time. It would have been a long year driving to Crookston every night."
Walls has overseen close to 40 collegiate swimmers in his time as coach, spanning from Division III and up.
