LORDSTOWN, Ohio - The annual Lordstown Apple Cider Festival is back, kicking off today for a three-day weekend of community fun. The festival, running from Sept. 12-14, promises a lineup of classic autumn activities, including fresh apple cider, carnival rides, live music, and a special appearance by the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile.

Organized by a nonprofit volunteer group, the festival’s midway opens at 5 p.m. this evening. Attendees can get their fill of fresh apple cider from the Lordstown Lions Club and enjoy rideS. The night’s entertainment will feature live music by Mike Cunningham from 7 to 10 p.m.

The festivities continue through the weekend, with highlights including:
