An SUV crashed into a Waterloo mural Wednesday morning, causing significant damage, according to KWWL. The crash occurred just before 11am near the intersection of East Fourth Street and Sycamore Street. First responders transported the driver from the scene. They were reportedly alert at the time. Their injuries are unknown at this time. Their name has not been released. The store behind the mural, Ivy Trellis Cards and Gifts, sustained heavy damage. The full extent of the damage is still being assessed.
