John Amos has been blazing fast for the Lions in his junior year. He leads the team with a time of 17:09.1. He also participates in track & field and wrestling for Clear Lake. “John is coming off a great season of tack & field where he earned three all-conference honors with his performances in the 800, 1600 and 3200,” Clear Lake head coach Tyler Havens said. “In cross country, John is a returning all-conference performer. He finished just outside of the top 15 at the state qualifying meet and is hungry to earn a strip to the state championships this season. John is an emerging leader for our boys team and led us on the course at our first meet this season.”
