An employee of a Des Moines retirement home is facing multiple charges, including first-degree harassment, for allegedly posting inappropriate photos and videos of residents on social media.

Sometime between August 2023 and December 2023, a certified nursing assistant at Bishop Drumm Retirement Center allegedly posted a video on her Instagram account "twerking" in another resident's face while the resident laid in a hospital bed, according to court documents.

During those months, the employee uploaded another video, putting her "stinky feet" in a man's face as he sat on the toilet partially naked, court documents said. Another video that surfaced showed another resident "fully nude" and "sitting down in the handicap shower area," the documents said.
