LAWRENCE — When Kansas football coach Lance Leipold spoke the Monday before the Sept. 6 road game at Missouri, it did not sound as if Bangally Kamara would be available.
Kamara, a redshirt senior linebacker, had suffered a non-contact injury in practice the week before. Kamara had missed the most recent game because of it, when KU won on Aug. 29 at home against Wagner. Postgame with reporters, following the 42-31 loss in early September at Missouri, Leipold outlined Kamara was out at the time of that Monday press conference.
