While speaking with reporters on Thursday, Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb acknowledged that he has "dwelled on" the fact that he dropped multiple catchable passes in Dallas' 24-20 Week 1 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles back on Sept. 4.

Lamb also revealed that he texted Dak Prescott to tell his starting quarterback that he wasn't to blame for what went wrong at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field.

"I came up short on my end, but just trust me. Stay with me and I got you," Lamb texted Prescott, per Todd Archer of ESPN.

Prescott responded with a promise to his top target.

"I'm not going to stop throwing you the ball," Prescott told Lamb.
