WESTERN Ky. (KFVS) - Kentucky State Police is investigating a sexual assault reported after a party at Kentucky Lake.

On August 31, KSP Post 1 received a report of a sexual assault from the night before.

They say a woman was found unconscious on the bank of Kentucky Lake in the Smith Bay area.

When she regained consciousness, troopers say the woman refused medical treatment that night, but later reported to an area hospital on August 31, where she had injuries consistent with sexual assault.

According to KSP, there was a “glow party” in Smith Bay on the night of the assault.

They say the victim reported being at the party before she lost consciousness.
