CINCINNATI —

Two people were taken to the hospital after a stabbing in Mount Auburn Friday morning, according to the Cincinnati Police Department.

The stabbing happened on Gage Street near Rice Street around 7:45 a.m. Advertisement

According to police, a man stabbed his girlfriend, then tried to injure himself. Both were taken to the hospital. Their conditions are currently unknown.

It is unclear what led to the stabbing.
