INGRAM, Texas — A famous Houston-area businessman is once again stepping up to support flood victims and first responders in Kerr County by giving away more mattresses for those in need.

Jim McIngvale, who Texans know as Mattress Mack, is giving away 500 mattresses to help them get a good night's sleep.

This time he's extending the mattress giveaway to the first responders and volunteers who played a critical role in the flood relief efforts, as well as victims and volunteers.

The giveaway is Saturday at City West Church in Ingram from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m., or until all mattresses are gone.

Every house can get one mattress, you just have to bring your license and show you live in a zip code impacted by the flood. First responders are also asked to bring an ID.
