It looks like Lady Edith finally got her happy ending in real life, too.

“Downton Abbey” actress Laura Carmichael and her co-star, Michael C. Fox, confirmed that they’ve married, according to People.

News of the surprise nuptials was shared during an NBC special promoting the hugely popular franchise’s latest and final movie, “Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale.” It opens in theaters today.

Fox played the character Andrew Parker on the show, and he and Carmichael met on the set. They reportedly kept their romance largely out of the headlines and had a child together in 2021.
