President Donald Trump attended a New York Yankees' game on Sept. 11, just days after traveling to New York to attend a U.S. Open match.

The visit to New York came on the 24th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, and Trump paid tribute along with first lady Melania Trump at the Pentagon earlier in the day. The Yankees also held a pregame ceremony to honor the victims.

Trump received a mix of boos and cheers when he appeared on the jumbotron, as he has when he attended other sporting events as president.

"The fans were really nice. You know, you never know what you're going to get in ... a New York ball park," Trump said on Fox News' "Fox and Friends" on Sept. 12. "But we got a tremendous applause, because they love the country."

Trump also met with the Yankees before the game. Photos show him shaking hands with Aaron Judge, who towers over the president. Judge is 6-feet-7-inches tall, according the MLB. Notably, that’s the same height as Donald and Melania Trump’s only child, Barron Trump. Donald Trump is 6-feet-3-inches, according to his annual physical exam.

"Aaron Judge, he is some player, but he is some strong guy," Trump said on "Fox & Friends" the next morning. "He had the biggest forearms. You know, I've seen weightlifters, I've never seen arms this big. And he's a fantastic person, too."
