The clock to protect American families is ticking, Council Member of Frederick County, Maryland , Mason Carter , told the Washington Examiner , adding that blue states must adopt a “stronger presence” of federal law enforcement and stop the downplay of crime.

[Complying with the Department of Homeland Security ] “is a great idea. It is appalling. It is in our best interest to protect our cities, our families, and our communities. A stronger presence of law enforcement is certainly needed,” Carter told the Washington Examiner .
