Daylight Saving Time 2025 will end on Sunday, Nov. 2, at 2 a.m. — a bit earlier than it has in recent years.
That’s because it always takes place on the first Sunday in November, which falls just about as early in the month as possible. However, the earliest possible end to Daylight Saving Time will occur in 2026, when the first Sunday in November falls on Nov. 1.
Once it occurs, we gradually approach the year’s shortest day — Sunday, Dec. 21, known as the winter solstice.
Our days will begin to gradually get lighter until we jump back into Daylight Saving Time on March 8, 2026.
