COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - A celebration of historically Black colleges and universities is happening this weekend in Columbia.

The 2025 Big HBCU Battle of the Bands takes place on Sunday at Benedict College’s Charlie W.Johnson Stadium.

Participating marching bands include Benedict, Bethune-Cookman University, Fayetteville State University, Fort Valley State University, Savannah State University, South Carolina State University, Talladega College, Virginia State University, and Winston-Salem State University.
