MIAMI GARDENS — Miami Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel had injury updates on key players Friday morning before the team’s final practice ahead of Sunday’s home opener against the New England Patriots.

Wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is good to go after being limited in practice this week with a shoulder injury suffered in last week’s season-opening loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

Right tackle Austin Jackson is indeed out, according to McDaniel, after aggravating a toe injury in the opener.

He had already missed the team’s Wednesday and Thursday practices this week.

Without Jackson, Larry Borom is in line to start at right tackle, as Kion Smith is already replacing James Daniels, who was placed on injured reserve with a pectoral injury this week, at right guard.
