Housing policy is at the top of San Francisco’s legislative agenda now that lawmakers are back from their summer recess.
At the very center of the action is Mayor Daniel Lurie’s proposal to relax density limits on new homebuilding projects throughout The City’s western and northern neighborhoods. The legislation behind Lurie’s “family zoning” plan is set to receive its first official vote Thursday when it appears before the Planning Commission.
