YOUNGSTOWN Yet another high school has announced the cancelation of its football game against Ursuline High School Friday afternoon.
A spokesperson for the Youngstown City School District confirmed with 21 News that Chaney High School's game against Ursuline scheduled for October 17 has been canceled.
The spokesperson says this decision was made "in the best interest of [the district's] scholars and [its] community."
Chaney is the latest of many schools to cancel its games against Ursuline following a lawsuit filed against the school and its football program accusing team members of hazing and sexual assault, as well as recording and distributing videos of the alleged incidents to other students and the community at large.
The suit also accuses head coach Dan Reardon and assistant
