SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WFSB) - A community candlelight vigil honoring conservative commentator Charlie Kirk will be held Sunday at Cadillac Ranch.

The event, hosted by the Connecticut Republican Party, is set to begin at 3 p.m. on September 14.

Supporters, friends, and local residents are invited to gather peacefully to reflect, share memories, and show solidarity in the wake of Kirk’s death.

Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed this week during a campus event in Utah.

His death sparked a widespread conversation across the political spectrum and led to increased security efforts at events nationwide.

The vigil at Cadillac Ranch is open to the public.
