ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A woman was stabbed during a robbery in St. Louis’ Dutchtown neighborhood on Thursday.

According to police, the woman was sitting in her car in the 3700 block of Chippewa when the suspect approached her and opened the door. The female suspect told the victim not to move and threatened her with a knife.

The 29-year-old woman told officers she grabbed the knife and was stabbed in the neck. She then ran off, and the suspect stole her purse.

The victim was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
