A yellow wind warning will be in place for most of England and all of Wales on Sunday and Monday - with people told to expect travel disruption and power outages.

The Met Office, which issued the warning, has said gusts of up to 55mph are expected widely inland, while 70mph winds are possible along exposed coasts and hills.

The warning will be in place between 8pm on Sunday and 6pm on Monday and covers almost the whole of England - with only the northernmost parts not affected by the warning.

Manchester, Leeds, Hull and York are all in the warning area along with the whole of Wales.

There are no warnings in place for Northern Ireland or Scotland.
