Newsmax has dropped its high-profile antitrust lawsuit against Fox News and its holding company — for now.

The conservative media outlet filed a notice of voluntary dismissal in a Florida federal court Thursday.

It came less than a week after Judge Aileen Cannon , an appointee of President Donald Trump , tossed the complaint, calling it a “shotgun pleading.”

In a two-page filing in the Southern District of Florida first flagged by Court Watch , attorneys for Newsmax said the case was dismissed without prejudice, meaning it could be refiled later.

No answer or motion for summary judgment had been filed by Fox, which allowed Newsmax to withdraw unilaterally under federal court rules.
