NBC in a breaking news announcement reports that officials have identified the suspect accused of shooting and killing conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Utah Governor Spencer Cox said at a press conference on Friday morning that investigators arrested and identified the 22-year-old Utah resident Tyler Robinson after analyzing surveillance footage.

"We got him," Cox said, standing with FBI Director Kash Patel and other law enforcement officials. Robinson is expected to be charged with aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily injury and obstruction of justice, according to a probable cause affidavit.
