Things have started to go south for Tyreek Hill in Miami (no pun intended).
In the first two years with the Miami Dolphins, Tyreek Hill would have 238 catches for just over 3,500 yards and 20 touchdowns. Last year, he had 81 catches for 959 yards and only 6 touchdowns. It would be the first time in four seasons that Hill would account for under 1,000 yards receiving. Hill has since then started to grow increasingly frustrated in Miami.
An image surfaced of Hill on the bench during the game against the Indianapolis Colts, which the Dolphins would lose 33-8, and he looked completely out of sync, which leads to a possible trade out of Miami for the still elite playmaker. Which three teams likely have an interest?
Kansas City Chiefs
A reunion with the Kansas City Chiefs would make the most sense for Hill. He already has a relationship with everyone there, knows the offense, and the Chiefs could use his services after losing the Super Bowl last year to Philadelphia, and the first game of 2025. Not to mention wide receiver Rashee Rice is suspended for the first few games of the season, and Xavier Worthy now has a shoulder injury that could keep him out for multiple games. Pairing him alongside Worthy when healthy could help spread the field and open up the Chiefs offense back to where it used to be.
Washington Commanders
Hill to the Commanders would be a luxury move, and possibly a difficult one as well. But if a deal could get done, pairing Hill with Deebo Samuel would be a massive headache each week for opposing defenses. The Commanders are just a few moves short of being a legit perennial Super Bowl contender. With Samuel often being injured, bringing in Hill could also provide veteran depth still in their prime.
Las Vegas Raiders
Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Myers has expressed his desire to be traded. Bringing in Hill to go along with Brock Bowers and Ashton Jeanty may work, but Bowers is battling an injury and may miss some time. Hill would be a huge target for Geno Smith in the passing game, and if the Raiders want to "Just win baby," they may want to come to take a seat at the negotiating table.
