SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Three people are injured and two individuals are in custody after a crash on Thursday afternoon.
The crash occurred at 59th and Solberg in western Sioux Falls.
The suspect, Selvin Pacheco, was charged after speeding north on Solberg, unsuccessfully completing a turn, and striking another vehicle head-on.
Pacheco, 23, was charged with DWI 1st, vehicular battery, reckless driving and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
A passenger in Pacheco’s vehicle fled the scene after the crash but was quickly apprehended.
The passenger was charged with possession of marijuana paraphernalia and obstructing police.
No injuries were life-threatening.
